Smile at Truth
"Be host to Truth who comes so late,
Fumbling snowblind at your gate.
Be careful not to hurt his eyes
With the flame of your surprise;
But just as soon as you have felt
His cloudy heart begin to melt,
Then smile at Truth who comes so late,
Lest he, in bitterness, relate
Some truth you didn't contemplate."
